Replacing A Flat Tire – Quickly, Effortlessly
- First and foremost, please make sure you’re safe and that your car is out of oncoming traffic’s way
- Then, proceed to remove the hubcap (the shiny cover on the center of your wheel).
- Locate the lug nuts and loosen them but please make sure not to break them in the process.
- Position the jack in its appropriate position beneath the vehicle (consult your car’s guide if necessary) and hoist your car.
- Remove the lug nuts completely.
- Take off the damaged tire, slap on the spare, and securely tighten the lug nuts back to their place.
- Slowly lower your car and put the jack away.
- Drive your car for a couple of hundred yards.
- Re tighten the lug nuts and put the hubcap back on.
- Visit your mechanic to replace the spare tire.
